1. Bench No. 3 by Floris Wubben
Bench No. 3 is a design by Floris Wubben that asks the question of whether or not benches are for sitting. This bench is made of polypropylene, wood and lacquered metal. The wavy polypropylene is attached to the wooden branch with metal rods. As a consequence, the shape of the polypropylene is given by the shape of the branch. The polypropylene forms a fascinating combination along with the natural wood. Although completely different materials, they both need each other to conquer the whole design2.
