The Mazda Taiki is a concept that is great for the environment and also protects our wonderful planet. This car portrays the image of a car that looks like a space ship from a dimensional galaxy. This car has a great body and the internal spacing of it and exterior make it have a dynamic look.

The rear wheels of the Mazda Taiki have a rotor engine that is environment friendly and helps in saving energy resources. This car is named after a man named Taiki Endo who came up with the wonderful design and turned it into a reality.

The interior colors of the car are designed according to a theme; they were inspired by Yin and Yang.

The driver has a side cabin which is the color black and the passenger’s side is white. The exterior end got its inspiration from flowing robes. Everything from the dashboard to the seats has the flowing sensation, which was kept in mind according to the flowing skies of Japan in May. The Mazda Taiki has doors that are known as scissor doors and even has wheels that were designed according to aerodynamic techniques. This car was inspired by the Japanese and was first presented in a car show in Tokyo, Japan.

The two colors that are present in the car white and black give the Mazda Taiki a vibrant appearance and make it look stunning. The driver’s seat has comfortable seating that make driving fun and enjoyable at all times. The seating is made up of great quality silicone material. There is plenty of room for the passengers to sit and also have plenty of leg space at the bottom. The main goal in the creation of this car was to give it a flowing or dream like appearance and the Mazda Taiki does a great job in capturing this scenery.

The teardrop roof is transparent and has a great frame that is present. There are also calligraphic strokes that are on the surface that make give the car a unique touch and create the flowing of the wind. The dashboard of the car is also amazing and has red LED lights that function quite effectively. The Mazda Taiki is an advanced car that makes driving smoother and easier. It is equipped with the greatest safety technologies that keep the driver and passenger safe at all times. The design of the car is so great that the driver can do many things without removing their hand from the steering wheel. #12. Jaguar XF Diesel S Police Car

The The Central Motorway Police Group that operates across the Midlands in the UK, have recently placed an order for 7 high performance new patrol cars based on the award-winning 3.0-litre Jaguar XF Diesel S model.

The new vehicles feature a roof mounted light bar (3600 blue flashing lights), integrated side alley lights, blue and white flashing LED lights inside the front grille, side mounted blue flashing LED lights, blue and red flashing LED lights integrated into the rear light clusters and a Home Office-specification electronics ‘Police pack’ that powers a full suite of electronic equipment.

#11. Lamborghini Gallardo Polizia

Back in 2004 Lamborghini supplied the Italian Polizia di Stato with a brand new and unique Gallardo. The Gallardo ‘Polizia’ was to be used by traffic officers Salerno-Reggio Calabria autostrada in Southern Italy and for high-speed delivery of transplant organs.

Fitted with sirens, flashing lights and a distinctive blue and white State Police livery, there was also a variety of medical equipment and advanced technological apparatus for receiving and transmitting information and images. Other sophisticated equipment included a satellite navigational system with GSM microtelephone, a ‘Provida’ system to record violations and send images in real time, direct connection to the Police database and an Elsag ‘Autodetector’ system for number plate recognition.

Giving the Italians and Germans a run for their money, the Netherlands have their own super Police car, the C8 Spyder. Created for the Frevoland police, the C8 is a hand built roadster built by Spyker and powered by an Audi 4.2L V8.

#9. Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe Police Car

Yellow Gallardos have been “temporary” police cars for the Metropolitan Police in London, England, one in 2005 and one in 2006, for specific publicity events. The 2006 vehicle was seen at the start of the 2006 Gumball Rally. Both vehicles were lent by Lamborghini London and were fitted with yellow and blue battenburg markings, police logos and a small blue lightbar.

#7. Lexus IS-F Humberside Police Car

The high performance Lexus IS-F features a tuned 5.0-litre V8 engine capable of reaching 62mph in 4.8 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 168 mph.

Humberside Police’s Roads Crime Section made the decision to purchase the Lexus IS-F after the vehicle proved to be exceptionally capable of remaining stable in high speed operational policing environments, despite carrying the extra weight provided by the £30,000 worth of on-board computers and communications equipment.

#6. 2005 TechArt Carrera 997 Police cruiser

Based on a Porsche Carrera S (997), this TECHART police patrol car was the symbol of a car safety campaign across Germany.

This eye catching patrol car was unveiled at the Essen Motorshow in 2005 to promote safe and responsible car tuning, and to help educate enthusiasts about the inferior and often illegal car modding products available on the market.

#5. Ferrari 612 Scaglietti HGTS Police Car

Ferrari created a special version of the flagship V12 four-seater 612 Scaglietti liveried in police colours to be used when Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary relay started the UK leg.

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti HGTS is a version of 612 with police car colour scheme, HGTS (Handling GTS package) and also has Daytona style seats, personalised stitching and leather details, yellow rev counter, yellow brake callipers and Scuderia Ferrari shields.

The vehicle began its relay at the UK on the 18th may 2007, which was driven by police officers at the front of the UK tour throughout the 1500 miles from Belfast to London.

#4. Sussex Police Lotus Exige 2007

This 220bhp lightweight Lotus Exige S was handed over to the Sussex police as a new initiative to help the officers engage with young drivers.

“Rather than sending a standard response unit to the scene of a disturbance caused by younger drivers getting together and doing donuts, we want to talk to the younger drivers,” says Sergeant Paul Masterson. “We talk about the car, its performance and their cars. Once the barriers are down, we can talk to them about more serious road safety issues.”

#3. Mitsubishi Lancer Evo-X-Police Car

Used by the UK’s Yorkshire County Road Crime Units, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X police cruisers impressed the Police Inspectors with their “strong visual impact, performance and safety credentials.”

Each Evo X is fitted with a new Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, capable of locating and tracking any fleeing motorist with ease.

The new member of the team will be used on the same missions and at the same time as its previous-generation siblings, creating such a strong visual impact that the vehicle being pursued will often simply give up the chase and pull over, knowing they won’t be able to out-run the RCU. What is more, the Police Evolutions ‘hunt’ in packs of three, which, Inspector Slack explained is often enough of a deterrent that high-speed chases are avoided.

Built from a new Camaro SS, the Haltom City, Texas police department decided to enlist the help of a local custom shop built this menacing new patrol car.

Haltom City Police commissioned Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine, Texas to build this one-of-a-kind Camaro SS police car complete with an LED bar on top, embedded bar in the rear window and a blue light strip embedded behind the muscle car’s devious grin. Scary stuff!

Revealed at the Essen Motor Show, this jaw-dropping Brabus creation was built for the German Tune It Safe! campaign.

With a top speed of 225.19 mph, the twin-turbocharged CLS V12 S Rocket certainly lives up to its nickname.

So the Paris Motor Show brought us a few amazing rides from the world’s most renowned carmakers. For some, we already knew what’s coming and others stunned us with their design and technology. Here’s our opinion on the top 10 most interesting cars from the Paris Motor Show 2012.

10. Toyota GT86 TRD

 

This Toyota GT86, also known as the Scion FR-S in America, has a rather long list of upgrades under its beautiful white paint. Starting with an exhaust system and an optional push-button ignition to a complete coilover suspension system with 40 way adjustable shock absorbers and massive 18-inch wheels with six-piston brakes.

No official news from what’s under the bonnet though, but rumors state a 2.0-litre engine with 315HP.

9. Bentley Continental GT3

This is what happens if you put a car on steroids. The Bentley Continental GT3 Concept is, without a doubt, the meanest car on the floor of the Paris Motor Show. With its fancy new bodykit, massive spoiler and revised engine, the GT3 has also been approved for use in several competitive series by the FIA, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Though technical details haven’t been released yet, Bentley has given us a heads-up in terms of the racecar that will ultimately result from this program. The GT3 will be based on the very strong performance of the Continental GT Speed combined with “state-of-the-art motorsport hardware.”

8. Mercedes SLS Electric Drive

Probably one of the hardest to miss car at the Paris Motor Show, the Mercedes SLS Electric Drive represents the next step in Mercedes’ electric SLS development project.

Under the bonnet, the German sports car utilizes four electric motors to produce 740 HP and 1000 Nm of torque. Connected to a lithium-ion battery pack the blue rocket sprints from 0 to 100 in just 3.9 seconds. It has a range of 250 km and can be charged in as little as just three hours.

7. Audi Crosslane Coupe

The Crosslane Concept is a unique new package from Audi. With a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine connected to a plug-in hybrid system, Audi wants this 177 HP SUV to obtain a staggering 214 mpg. Audi designed this interesting SUV to have an unique chassis made of both aluminum and carbon fiber.

There’s also a chance Audi will bring a sub-compact crossover of this size to market to slot in below the European Q3.

6. Lexus LF-CC Concept

Surely one of the most beautiful cars at the Paris Motor Show is the exciting new Lexus LF-CC Concept. The new design previews the first ever Lexus IS coupe that might also boast Lexus’ all-new hybrid 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine.

Wider and lower than it appears in the press photos, the LF-CC concept is an exceptionally crisp evolution of Lexus’ L-Finesse design language.

5. The 2013 Range Rover

The new Range Rover looks stunning with it’s new design and features. Among the ones that make it so special is the all-aluminum monocoque body and chassis that have lowered the SUV’s weight by 420 kg.

Under the bonnet, customers can choose from a 3.0-liter twin-turbo diesel V6 with 255 HP – 190 kW and 599 Nm of torque, or the larger 4.4-liter twin-turbo diesel V8 that produces  335 HP – 250 kW and 699 Nm of torque. On the gasoline side, we have a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that boasts 504 HP – 376 kW and 624 Nm of torque that accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 100km/h in 5.1 seconds and all the way to a top speed of 225km/h.

4. Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo

The Panamera Sport Turismo is somewhere between a wagon and a 4-door coupe. Even though it’s actually shorter in length than the normal Panamera, and nowhere near an utility vehicle, the Sport Turismo is an original vehicle. Under the bonnet, it boasts a 333 HP V6 engine connected to a 95 HP electric motor that outputs a total of 416 HP. As a result, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 6.0 seconds.

3. Peugeot Onyx Concept

Peugeot caused quite a stirr at the Paris Motor Show with the Onyx Concept. The ride easily made everyone look twice in its direction as the French manufacturer went crazy with the design. The Onyx is powered by a 3.7-liter diesel V8 that outputs 600 HP. Adding to the total power output is a kinetic energy recovery system that stores power while the vehicle is braking and then uses it later to motivate the car, adding an extra 80 HP.

2. The Jaguar F-Type

The long awaited Jaguar F-type is an astonishing vehicle, hands down. Reminding us of the beautiful and classic E-Type, the sporty new Jaguar is based on a modified version of the XK’s platform. Under the bonnet, customers can choose from a choice of either a 335 HP 3.0-liter supercharged V6, a 375 HP version of that same engine or a 488 HP supercharged 5.0L V8.

1. McLaren P1

This being McLaren’s first ever appearance at an international motor show, the famous carmaker took its chance to present the successor to the McLaren F1. The Awesome new McLaren P1 is expected to use the same twin-turbo V8 engine found in the MP4-12C with added power and perhaps even a hybrid setup. Further details have yet to surface exept the fact that the vehicle’s aerodynamics create over 450kg of downforce at full speed.

Swordfish Motorcycle Concept

The Swordfish Motorcycle concept by Alexander Kotlyarevsky sports an aggressive futuristic design and hubless wheels. The overall look has interesting mix between curves and sharp angles that earn this bike its name.

Icare Bike Motorcycle Concept

If we had access to all the possible concept designs for Batman’s motorcycle the Icare Bike Concept would certainly be on the list. We could just imagine the Dark Knight leaning into a tight turn on this sleek black bike. Icare isn’t just a cool concept, but a real working design. It’s powered by a six-cylinder 1.8 liter Honda engine with dual exhaust. Right now it’s still up in the air whether or not it will go into production, but keep you fingers crossed.

Ferrari Motorcycle Concept

You may notice the presence of those cool looking hand controls… Well, they’re inspired by the “throttle quadrant of a F16 jet fighter”.

The above-mentioned PC helps control the suspensions of the vehicle, the driving mode and the tech stuff doesn’t end here, as this Ferrari bike’s got an anti theft device incorporated plus radio and GPS. On the motorcycle’s display you’ll be able to monitor all liquids and temperatures, so you’ll keep it safe, while keeping it sci-fi and cool.

Mach Ness Motorcycle Concept

Motorcycle manufacturer Arlen Ness crafted this metal monster powered by a gas-turbine helicopter engine. The aluminum outer shell with noticeably large rivets gives it a sort of steam punk edge that you just won’t get from carbon fiber and plastic. The body has been shaped entirely by hand, which lends to why it’s not being mass produced.

Rae Motorbike Concept

The Rae concept motorbike has been designed especially for young riders. This is a next-generation concept, which helps the riders to create their own style on the bike and position with great customizability. The concept has different customizable attributes.

Ghost Motorcycle Concept

The Ghost Motorcycle concept puts the rider in an aggressive forward position that feels incredibly fast. The design draws its inspiration from the speed demon Ghost Rider as well as a flying falcon.

Speed Racer Alien Motorcycle Concept

The folks over at Gizmodo kindly pointed out that the “Speed Racer” motorcycle concept by Dan Bailey looks like something that came out of the Aliens movies, and we have to agree. Based around the Kawasaki Ninja the bike has some solid foundations, but was designed to look intimidating yet sleek. There’s no word as to whether or not it will see production, but considering how bad ass it looks we hope it does.

Magic Tricycle Motorcycle Concept

The Magic Tricycle sounds like something your four year old daughter might drive in the back yard, but it’s actually an amazingly clever transforming motorcycle. When you’d rather be in a car, say on the highway for instance, it lies on its side and uses 3 wheels as sort of a car. But when you just want pure speed its stands upright with the third wheel on top, which supposedly helps keep it balanced.

nUCLEUS Motorcycle Concept

The nUCLEUS takes everything you think you know about motorcycle design and turns it on its side. Truly unlike any other bike design out there NONOBJECT designed this bike to stand on its own in terms of design rather than take inspiration from every other bike concept out there. When not in use the motorcycle looks like a weird box, but when in motion the wheels extend and the saddle rises, showing off its function.

ENERGYA Motorcycle Concept

As most will say , technically anything with 3 wheels or less qualifies as a motorcycle then technically the ENERGYA Motorcycle fits the bill. With two wheels in the front and two full seats it almost looks like a racecar, but it only has one rear wheel. The designer Higgins-Aubé actually calls it a “motomobile” since it’s sort of a car/motorcycle hybrid.

Dodge Tomahawk Motorcycle Concept

The Dodge Tomahawk Motorcycle may be the only motorcycle listed here that technically isn’t actually a motorcycle. Based on a Viper V-10 bike, it’s got a beefy 500 horsepower engine and 4 wheels. According to the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration anything with more than 3 wheels on the ground doesn’t qualify as a motorcycle. That probably has something to do with why this beast of a bike never made it into mass production. Shame because this awesome machine is basically just an engine and some wheels that provide raw speed and power between your legs.

Scarab Motorcycle Concept

While the Scarab sounds like a bike you’d likely drive around in the desert it’s actually designed with urban situations in mind. The bike can adapt to sit completely upright while parked so it takes up as little space as possible in a crowded city parking lot. In fact you and 3 of your friends using scarabs can fit your motorcycles in a standard sized space for a car. Designer David Miguel Moreira Gonçalves envisions the Scarab to be used as a rental vehicle as a convenient and eco-friendly transpiration solution.

Jaguar M-Cycle Motorcycle Concept

The Jaguar concept by M-Cycles draws inspiration from the Jaguar car manufacturer logo. The bike measures 8 feet in length and features ebony lacquered fiberglass over stainless steel.

Halbo Future Duo-Wheel BMW Motorcycle Concept

Designer Pierre Yohanes designed the Halbo for eco-minded people who want something compact and electric powered. The front wheel is stationary and the back tail turns, so it’s kind of like riding a motorboat.
